I usually stick with HOYA-filters. They're the easiest to get where I live, and afaik the quality is good enough. Just pop into your local photostore, they might help you out, finding a polarizer for you

I can't speak for Quantaray, but if it is like their lenses, it might be better to shop for filters elsewhere.

I use the manufacturers filters right now on the Canon L lenses and Sigma EX on that one (120-300mm F2.8EX). I have 2 each of the CPL and UV for the Canon and 1 CPL/UV for the Sigma. Wait till you start buying 105mm filters...they aren't cheap!

I have those very same two filters. Let me be first to say that they are ok. But really "ok" is about the limit.

I have been looking at filters and am thinking that the Cokin P Filter system would be much better. That polarizer that you are looking at does an ok job. But the Conkin polarizer looked like it had a better effect.

I know that I am gonna keep my polarizer, for now. But when I get the dollars I am going to switch out of the threaded filters and go Cokin.

But that is just my two cents.
