Went to the botanical garden to day to repeat some shots I took before that I didn't like :? Took about 100 and went home. Now I never clamed to be real smart but during the time I was shooting I checked the ISO, Speed, F stop, flash, etc. I looked thru the view finder all the time :) I really did

I normally leave the quick control dial unlocked so I can make changes more easily :?

Yep, you probably guessed it by now. I obviously hit the knob with my thumb and changed the exposure compensation and didn't notice it   Took about 50 shots underexposed. Nope can't overcome in PS just too dark

I hate that lock on the 10d, it is so small and hard to operate..but you can bet I will learn how :D Yep I'm gonna lock that durn wheel from now on.

See I not too old to learn from my mistakes

Old dog can learn new tricks! :D

And it also helps to quickly look over the information at the bottom of the viewfinder to make sure everything looks hunky-dory, especially the exposure/EC meter each time if possible, just before pressing the shutter release. That way you'll know if exposure settings were accidently (or intentionally) changed. :)

Yep, and it sure would be nice to have the ISO speed in the viewfinder also. I've made that mistake more than once :)
