I am a complete novice so be nice

4 x Porsche 997 GT3RS's, each £110,000 ($220,000) a rare car in the UK, something like 50.

Shot in difficult location. There was a lot of sun and shade and the slope of the land didn't allow me to face the cars in the other direction. This would have made the noses point too high for the pics.

I loaned a wide angle lens, but did not have a polarising filter for it :(

Generally, the cars look pretty good for sunlight @ 6PM, & it's a pretty good series. Later, maybe around 8:30, might have been better. Seen this?
A few Car Lighting Tips (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=70290)
In #5, you have to be careful of the trees reflecting in the hoods.

Sorry, in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74718) only allow 8 embedded images by the OP per thread. (Maximum 800 pixels on any side.), so I had to remove the image tags from the extra shots. Links to them are OK, though.
Some exceptions are "Show Me...", "Post your best...", etc.

I am awe struck at the site of one... let alone four...

two of your images will probably be reduced to a link.. .per the posting rules :(

Edit: he beat me to it

glad I got to see all of them before that happened though! :P Gorgeous cars... your shots arent bad either!
I think I found my new desktop pic(s) for awhile...

No worries with the moderation....

All shots here http://public.fotki.com/Omen666/valeting_and_detailing/gt3rs-shoot/

Thanks for the feedback. I am not too happy with them, especially the lack of the polarizer for the low down shots.

But thanks for the encouragement. I am working through the set in LR as a way of learning it and workflow in general. A LOT to learn.

I am not too happy with them, especially the lack of the polarizer for the low down shots. I never use them, They usually help us to see the crap through the windshield & make the plastic over the headlights rainbow? ;)

for having such an opportunity, i'm surprised you only got *11* pictures... unless you got hundreds more and only wanted to put up that amount.

LOL

I took 200 pics, just working through them in LR. This was my first time shooting RAW so on a learning curve with the processing.
