Burnt To The Ground, Manchester

Hi all,

Burnt To The Ground was a mini festival in Stevenson Square and surrounding streets in Manchester.

There was a huge fire here a few weeks ago and in typically Mancunian response they decided to have a wee festival as a "celebration" and for charity. All local acts.

Nice images, except for the OoF drummer shot.
Agree about the fingers. I think if you crop that shot closer (bottom and right), it becomes a 'lesser offense' ;)

Yes, the drummer... I think I was deluding myself that he was in some sort of haze from the light shining on him - but "out of focus" is a more accurate description! :mrgreen:

2 and 8 are my favs from this set, Nice going.

good set. 2 and 4 could use a bit wider shot to get all the fingers. 1 would benefit from more DoF so you could see the tattoo in sharp relief. probably like 7 and 8 the most.

As we all agree, shame about the fingers :D but nice set!

The drum kit is in perfect focus, so no, not haze :D

Not sure if the blow out from the light in the last looks worse from compression, but probably.

Really nice set. Sometimes out of focus still work if the mood is there. Unfortunately this would have been a cracking shot had he been in focus.
