I'm no expert, but the sky looks blown out and the flash looks too hot. Is the flash snooted?

Yes the flash was with a home made Snoots from a box of cornmill.

Agreed with Pepperoni... Try using flash Exposure Compensation (FEC) next time and/or drop the exposure. Your model has beautiful eyes, don't forget some headshots to showcase those!

what most have already said .. less flash power wouldve worked better. also maybe placing the flash at a different angle so there wont be that harsh shadow on the wall. since her skin's highlight isnt blown out, you should be able to recover it in processing. i could post a quick edit i did on the picture but you dont have "image editing ok" though. but if you dont mind me posting, let me know :)
edit: actually nevermind, my edit didtn come out too good lol
