Rock 'n' Roll guitar legend Ted Nugent swung through Houston Sunday night cranking up some decibels at the Verizon Wireless Theater.

The zepp is back! Interesting framing on the first...pretty centered composition, is that to include the blue light? The color is really great in both.

Yes, I thought it looked better seeing where the light source was coming from. I suppose an editor could crop it further on the left should they choose. I'd rather give them a tad more than not enough to work with.

Ahhhh.... Being that I never listened to Damn Yankees, only his early days with the Amboy Dukes and his solo career..... I didn't catch the joke.
Someone mentioned to me that their wife didn't come to the show last night cause they had no clue who he was or what songs he plays. I shot the first two songs. He played "Journey to the center of your mind" and "Free for all". Third song was "Wango Tango" as I was leaving.

Why only stay for three songs?
Great shots BTW.

I was only allowed to shoot the first two songs and only heard the beginning of the third as I was leaving. I was given a photo pass but not a ticket.
Thanks

Wow. That's odd. It makes no sense that they would limit your stay, unless there was a line of photogs behind you waiting their turn.

3 song limit (or less) is pretty standard for mid/larger venues and artists.

I had no idea.
I'm already trying to get access for Dweezil Zappa in Phoenix this August. Hopefully I can stay a bit longer, as I already have my 11th row floor seats anyway.

It's not odd at all but is very much the normal practice during media coverage of musical acts.

Where have I been? These are some beautiful shots. The Nuge has a different bass player than when I saw him 3 years ago. He gets around on stage pretty good to be 62 or 63 years old, doesn't he?

I believe Ted is 58 years old. His regular bass player, Barry Sparks, had an illness in the family, I was told by Ted's publicist.
