Like a child batting...I stand there and just click, click, click until I finally get it..the other night, i wanted to get the dust off the glove...finally got it...

then the right shot of a child hitting the ball...that is a tough one since alot of them dont hit the ball...but what I do is take a missed shot that looks good and post it as if it were a hit..making sure the missed ball is not in the picture at all...

I've been shooting the same youth league bb for a few years now, so it almost seems like second nature to pull the trigger for a bat on ball or ball in glove shot. The problems I've been having lately are when the pitcher is in mid-delivery. These kids get faster each year and it's quite the task keeping up. With more pitches in their arsenals, I've got to keep a keen eye for what's being delivered to get that "it" image. What I really need is the 300 2.8 and a 1.4x tc... but hey, who are we kidding; youth leagues don't exactly pay the cheese needed for that kinda glass. I still gotta pay off my 5D.:D

OOO I hear you..I don't get paid anything, in fact, I sponsered a team..but have made that back in book sales...It's a first year for this in our area...I am being begged to do soccer and football, but I don't think I will...I really like the baseball/softball. Softball is tough too..those girls the way they pitch...sometimes it seems painful and definetly not as elegant as baseball. to stay right on as they pitch....I usually do three sets of multiple shots...just keep clicking, and out of that I can get some real interesting shots...Last week the morning sun killed alot of my shots..I toned them down..but now they are a bit too dark...then the night game under the lights produced haze...which looks like OOF. but it's not the last game. I just keep going...
