hi guys,
introduced myself in other parts of the forum, my usual area of interest is aviation and motorsport photography but i think thats only because i havent really gone out of my way to experiment in other areas...

so after much inspiration from this particular section of the forum im pleased to say that i bodged together a background and some lighting from bed side lamps and had a crack at some still life.....

its more or less my first attempt at this sort of thing, so C&C more than welcome

many thanks

I love the flower shot. The perspective works really well with the shallow DoF.

If it was me, I'd have a look at the white balance on the garlic cloves though

thankyou matey, i think the slight cast on the garlic is more to do with the slight adjustment in hue and saturation though...could be wrong.

its definately insprired me to attempt this sort of thing alot more, im going to have a big crack at it tomrow.

all C&C greatly recieved

I like the garlic one. I think that the coloring is perfect for it. It reminds me of garlic on the counter in the kitchen with the morning sun on it. I've seen this look on things on the counter when we were in Italy at our villa in Tuscany.
