This is the chief of a remote tribe in Senegal, quite an interesting face no?
Comments and critique widely accepted as a great thing :D

Nice image... I like the character of her face. Have you tried a B&W version?

Hmmm, no I didn't even consider it. I think I'll give it a go though. Anyone care to have a go too?

FABULOUS ... I'm partial to the color image here due to the different textures and colors -- skirt, blouse, hut, tree, etc.

Very nice Anke, Not sure which I like better. I am usually partial to B/W but not sure on this pic. Both look great. Such personality/character from that face.

I think color works better as well. One of those things that you have to see side by side...

Great portrait. I like the color image also though the B&W is good too.

I love this portrait, it makes me wonder what she's looking at and what her thoughts are.

Amazingly this woman is in her 90's and runs an entire village. It was kind of humbling to be in her presence.

Excellent capture of a face full of character. While I normally prefer BW for character portrait I think the colour is better in this case.
I'm not surprised she runs the village - does not look like someone you would want to cross.

What an amazing looking photo. I really like the look on her face. Hard to pick between the color one and the B&W one.
