put this up in the photo sharing section a while back. and now I'm deciding I want to get this printed maybe up to 11x14 to hang on a wall. if anybody could give some cc on this particular photo before it gets printed please let me know. maybe a few other things i could do to the processing to make it better?

On my profiled monitor I can see quite a pit of purple colour through the leaves of the trees, especially at the top of the picture. I've imported the picture into Lightroom and the purple peril looks even more severe. It might be worth trying to tune that out if you can. Just dropping saturation in the purple channel seems to help quite a bit but not completely.
Also, looking at the image in IE7, as posted above, the leaves of the trees appear just a bit too dark and lack vibrance and colour. Importing into Lightroom, without actually doing any edits, seems to give a much nicer rendition of colour/tone. I don't know how it looks on your monitor but you may want to give a small lift to the green in the trees, probably through a slight boost in exposure rather than fiddling with the greens themselves.
Other than those small and arguable details it's a nice photo - especially viewed in Lightrrom :) Good luck with the printing.

Nice picture. This is what came to my eyes...It may be overblown, though. My monitor needs to be calibrated badly..
Something antique?

Hmmm, just can't see a lot of detail in the general area of the bench, perhaps a little underexposed?

Looks like it could use a little USM - but all in all a great shot!

I've just realised why your picture looks better in Lightroom than in my web browser. You have saved the picture with Adobe RGB colour space, but sRGB is far better for the web and will give much brighter, punchier colours than Adobe RGB. Most browsers do not understand the colour space settings and assume that everything is sRGB. Adobe RGB pictures look flat/dull in most browsers.

And thanks everybody on their advice, i'll definitely take it into consideration when I touch this pic up some more.

You will be amazed at how much differently it will look when printed onto photographic paper when compared to the image seen on the computer screen.
I shutter when I see certain guys saying an image needs to be sharpened, and/or have a levels adjustment and/or an increase in the saturation before printing. I would order a 4 x 6 from the same lab you are going to use to print the final image first and see if you like it THEN order your enlargement.

Good call Benji - I guess if you have a calibrated monitor+comp+printer - you wouldn't have to worry about it... but how many of us amateurs do? ^^ LoL

Love the perspective, great view. Have to agree with tdodd, there is way too much purple fringing around the leaves. Did you shoot in raw, you may be able to remove most of this.
If not then in photoshop, add a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer and reduce the magenta and blue saturations. You can bring some blue back in the sky if you want to but I doubt there was any in the first place.
You then get something like this. You can add more overall saturation with another HSL layer.
