Last year I bought an S45, but never installed Zoom Browser on the computer I use for college. It's only on the computer at home. Unfortunately, I don't know where the CD is that has Zoom Browser EX on it, so now I have to wait until I go home from college to get my pictures off the camera. I called Canon and asked if they'd be able to replace the program and was told no. I've looked online to see if I could buy it, but have had no luck. Does anyone know where I could get a copy of Zoom Browser? Or is there another way of getting pictures off my camera without having to use Zoom Browser. Unfortunately, I don't run XP. Please help!

You don't say what operating system you are using...but assuming it's at least Windows 98SE, you should be able to buy a USB card reader (anywhere from $20-$30), plug it in to your computer, and download the pictures onto your computer that way. If it is Windows 98SE, you'll probably need to load the driver to make the card work. If you're not using Windows 98SE or something more current, than you probably ought to invest in upgrading..the technology improvements since Windows 98 more than make up for it.

If you like, I can make an ISO of my install CD, and you can download it from me off my persnoal server then burn it to CD. Let me know. :D
(By the way, you dont need a cdwriter to open a ISO image file. you can install a virtual cdrom drive and open images to use like a normal cdrom drive. PM me if what I said makes no sense! :))
I also find it irritating that you cant just download the software from Canon. But oh well!

Its the cd from an A80, v14 and here is the update from the Canon site:

As is always the case in software questions, the version would be a big help. So would the camera you're using.

I'd like to turn my pictures in sepia or/and black and white. The version of the software I am using is: Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk Version 25 and my camera is a Canon PowerShot SD500.

If you go to Help | About in Zoom Browser, what version is that? Version 25 describes what the whole combination of software on the CD is, not the specific versions for the specific apps, and is meaningless to anyone who doesn't have the disc.
