Hi guys, I took this photo in my home studio, I bought a continuos photography lighting but the true is Im not to good with it, Can anybody tell me some tips about the lighting? I also bought the hair lighting but I didnt used in this picture.
any comments are welcome.

The main thing that is killing you here is the background. There are so many tonal mergers between the subject's hair and clothing against that backdrop.
A lighter value or a different color would fix that problem.
The poses are absolutely charming. The lighting is a little too hot in spots. It will help to use more diffusion or bounce to reduce the harshness of the lights. Try using some natural light from a northern exposure before you start getting a lot of equipment.

The lighting while a bit hot isn't that bad if it had a lighter color background it would be very nice.
Softeneing the light some would make it even better.
lesson: don't shot someone with dark hair and dark clothes against a black background.

I get it! I have one question the lights are 32 inches per side what can I use to softeneing the light?

something that is white and won't burn...that will diffuse it a bit for you...
