Is that a real bird? Looks like it, niceshot. The bird is a bit dark and lighting it up will bring out some details. The right side is cut off, but that seems like a shot that you get one try for. Nice picture nevertheless.

Yes she is real. She was landing on her handlers hand. The size reduction lost a lot of the detail and gave the image a darker look.

There is something that looks like a stand sticking out behind the subject. Would have been nice to avoid that in the scene, if possible. Could be erased in PS, in any case.

It has a greenish color and is right behind the bird's right claw.
