more fps in filming

Hello,

I heard that there are possible to mod digital cameras. Then you get more fps in filming. Maybe modded/new digital camera software or something...
So I need more information about this. My digital camera is Canon A430 and I'm getting only 10fps at 640x480.

That's what it's rated for. There's a thread on here about a hack for (many of) the A-series cameras, but I don't believe it'll do anything for the video frame rate.
