I want to make my photo gallery in Internet, but I would like to e in a free site.
I was looking at pbase, but they charge you some money. Is there any place to put your gallery for free ?
In the case you go to pbase. How much place is enough ? 400Mb doesn't look enough, but I don't know how big are the potos you put in the gallery.

I started out with a free gallery, which was working out fine until they decided to delete all my images for no reason... I'd rather pay an annual fee and know my images will be there when I need them.

pbase give You 200 MB for $23 a year and that is cheap IMHO.
I have my gallery on my own webserver and the 1.728 photos I have there only use 90 mb space. All photos are in 640x480.

fotopic.net gives you 250 MB for free! And you don't get annoying ads etc. on your pages, and you can customize a lot of things.
You should downsize your images before you upload them to the gallery. Don't put your high-res, straight out of the camera images in the gallery - you'll not only be wasting space, but it will also take much longer to download the images for people who are looking at your gallery. I downsize my images to 720 x 480 for the web. Another advantage of downsizing is that people can't steal your images and make high quality prints of them.
Currently I have 608 photos online, which take up 50.99 MB. So I've only used 1/5th of my available space.
And you get your own subdomain name: http://jesper.fotopic.net

I was using fotopic.net & it has image resizing problems, even with 500X500ppi images, they change somehow before they get here.
http://photobucket.com/ works just fine & it's free, too.

Fotopic's image sizing problem exists when you direct link a picture. Given that I do that quite a bit, I may look at the photobucket thing myself.

Ok! I've opened my gallery in fotopic.
For the moment there are only 7 pictures, more will come in the next few days.
Thank you all...
