Does this baby come in black ? Or did Canon only make it in white ?
I ask since a german site offers this great lens in black... I´ve only seen the white version.
However i am about to purchase it regardless color - do any of you have any links to specific reviews and pictures taken with this lens ?

White only. Canon does not offer lenses in two colors, If it's white, it's white. If it's black, it's black.
And actually the color is not white. More like a cream color.

Well, that certainly is true for 'L' glass (which seems to be what we're talking about here), but some of the cheap kit zooms have been sold in silver as well as black. :wink:

They may be selling the 80-200 f2.8 L NOT the 70-200 f2.8 L. It is an older discontinued lens. My understanding was that it pre-dated USM and had no full time manual focus. But it did come in black.
