Great, great setup Caldwell. You'll have fun with that. That's a great high-end starter setup. You'll love that L-glass. We'll expect photos here soon too. And more than just the obligitary pond ducks! ;)

took me a while to pull the trigger, but I realized that I wanted to "buy it right" the first time!

But if you should happen to stray upon some pond ducks, do make sure you photograph them from behind.... ;)

Thats so sad when 4600+ dollars has the words "starter setup" in the same sentence :D
Wonder what my little pile of equipment. is :? ? NOW, I have an excuse to by my "L" glass 8) I am salivating over that combo, Caldwell....

In this case I don't thi nk it meant "starter" like "it'll do for starters" .. :)

I think it means what a great way to start! (as opposed to starting with a tamron 28-200mm on a Rebel ti ) :wink:

An awesome set up "from the beginning" .. rather than the gradual build up that most of us do... :roll: (myself included)
