The conversion to B&W is OK. Unfortunately, I just don't find the photo particularly interesting. I don't know if the main subject is the 4 people, the street, the cars, the trees....or what? It loks like a scene you could see in any town or city anywhere in the world....I mean, there's really nothing there to grab your attention or make the photo different.
