Ok it is going to storm here tonight (at least that is what the weather man said) so can someone give me some basics on lightning photography. ISO, F-stop, ect.?

I can use a computer and program and I know all about digital stuff. I have been using a computer since age 3 and programming since age 8.

Good. Then the Kodak site should have a lot of basics that you can use to build on your current knowledge. Spend some time looking through the site. Some is very simple, just skim or skip as appropriate. Others are concept explanations, spend some time on these.
