Why yes Timmy, of course it does...why would you even think that? These manufacturers all have your best interests at heart... In fact, I have heard they are no longer going to upgrade any of their cameras or accessories, just to help us learn to save money. I think Canon will be dumping the L series as well.

I thought about the 9100 but my mom is helping me out with the 9900 as a graduation present. Why not get the better one while i can?
As for L, i'm already hooked, it's simply a matter of having the funds.

Which camera did you purchase? I also want to get the 100-400mm L eventually, but it will be quite a while. :D

Hehe, I got my DRebel in March and I've already found myself wishing I had gotten the 10D. It's not like a really need many of the extra features (yet), but I think the 10D looks soooo much better. Since looks alone is not a very good reason to spend $1500, I'll be waiting quite a while before I replace the DRebel. :D It's ok though, I love my camera. :)
