Hi,
Nothing fancy, but here's something I put together to supplement the local school Website, where there is very little in photos (or updating for that matter). Lots of compression on the photos (mostly dial-up around here), but the kids/parents seem to get a kick out of it.

What equipment are you using for your football games?

Well, I actually started the season with a Nikon 990 and a Sunpak 433D. Part way through through the season (you can tell from the photos), I finally got my hands on a 10D, EF 28-135 IS, and 420EX (all... actually more than I could afford).
The last game or two, I had the pleasure of trying out a 70-200 /f2.8 L lens. What a sweetheart that was.
Handheld, mostly 800 ISO. 1600 ISO was OK too. 3200 was a little noisy, but some of the shots cleaned up OK with Neat Image.
I might try for a 550EX this fall.

I'm hoping the 100-400 L and 550EX will work for me, it may be a bit long but it's not all i'll be using it for, and with that in mind it's gonna have to :-).
