I have an Xti and would like to add more cards I currently have the Ultra II and the extreme III both 2 gig. I like to add a 4 gig card and not sure if I need to super fast cards for my camera or not so please advise on what is more usable for my camera.

I'd stick with Ultra II which are cheap at the moment and get 2x 2GBs - in case of failure you are better covered.

I have and like the Ultra II cards, but want to try the Lexar 133x next time.

Do you shoot RAW, or plan to? If so, go with 4 GB cards. And IMO it's a good idea to get the fastest cards you can reasonably afford; they'll outlast your camera for the most part, and be able to cope with the faster cameras of the future. I buy Extreme III 4 GB cards now (with the occasional Extreme IV), and let the smaller Ultra II cards sift down to the less-demanding cameras. I figure that changing cards more frequently than every 200 or so shots is too often.

At some point when I figure this all out and learn to use PS I'll shoot some raw images but for now I use the jpeg format.
I did go on and purchase a extreme III 4 gig card and maybe with 2 2 gig cards and the 4 gig that should hold me for the time bein until I can spend more time shooting photos and learning how to edit.

I have and recommend a Transcend 4GB card, 120X and circa 50 bucks.
