PS Elements 2 and RAW...

Apologies if this is a silly question.... is it possible to work with RAW format files in PS Elements 2?

Yes. and no...

Adobe HAD a seperate RAW plug in that worked in PS7.01 AND Elements two.

But it was discontinued when PSCS came out with RAW built in...

You have two chances..
1. find an old version of the original "ACR" plug in (Adobe Camera Raw)
2. The current RAW plug in for Adobe PSCS availble for download on Adobes website.. although said to only work in PSCS, actually conforms to Adobe's own standard plug in criterea.. and thus will work in ANY compatible ap.. including Elements 2.. BUT to get it to work.. a "hack" needs to be done to the plugin itself.. :roll:
