Great Blue Heron

Hey, just going through a bunch of my old pics and found this Heron from a while ago. I took this near Olympia, WA. It seems I have a real hard time getting them, but this guy was just chilling by the water, and didn't seem to care I was there. In fact he was so calm that I took my eye off him to look at some of the pics and then he flew off! :( The launching shot would have been cool! :(

Nicely done but the twings in front ruin this a bit.
I like the exposure and the low angle. Thanx for sharing.

I like the shot,nice clean ,great focus and I do not mind the plants in front at all. Nice shot.
