I have a strange issue with my Canon Powershot A540. Most of the images are with a small white circle.
Initially I thought its because of the dust on the lens then later found its something else. Even after cleaning the circle exists.
But I didnt find any loss in quality. What exactlty is that?Do I need to clean my CCD or something to do with firmware?
I am really confused. Please help me out to solve this issue.

Thanks
Gokul

That does look like dust or dirt inside the camera, where you won't be able to clean it. Is it more prominent if you stop down to a small aperture? If the camera's still under warranty, I'd send it in - it's going to have to be disassembled to get rid of that and it's not where you can just ignore it.

Its still under warranty period. So I would need to give it for servicing.
Yes,I use small F stops. You mean bigger f stops would eliminate the problem?
Any ways thanks for your help.

At larger apertures the dust spot will be more out of focus, so less noticeable.
