3 Questions EE 1.5

Hi

I use RC4 and I’ve 3 questions:

1) In what file can I change the font size of the headers in the group index (‘welcome’-header and exhibition group headers)? It seems that this is not possible in the style definitions. There I can only change the header sizes of the exhibition index but not of the group index when using groups.

2) I set up different resize methods with Imagemagick. Should I set up sharpening? If yes, what parameters should I use? You must know, I am not a professional photographer. I’m just interested in resizing my pictures in a good quality. (Similar as I can do it in Photoshop or ACDSEE)
I tested resizing with JPEG quality between 70.. 85%. But I have the feeling that the quality in Imagemagick is worse compared to resizing in Photoshop or ACDSEE with the same quality.

3) How can I remove (or change the color) of the thin black line under the header part in the photo-page respectively list page.
I could change the bg color of the color if the header itself. But there is a thin black line in the photo/list-page that I don’t know how to change or remove. In the exhibition index page, I don’t have this black line.

Look in indexstyles/groupindex.php. eg line 93 is for the group header.

Sorry, no.

For my main images I do all the sharpening in photoshop prior to uploading. I've only recently moved to a host that supports Imagemagick and I've not yet played around with the Imagemagick settings for sharpening the thumbs.

As for Q3, i haven't a clue. :)

Have a look at subheader.php. I think the table in here creates the shaded line you're talking about.
