Flash Units for G5

Hi!

I've just bought a Powershot G5 and am wondering if I can use the flash unit I bought fot my Minolta 7000 slr?

Any help would be appreciated

if it isnt listed, use a multimeter to check the trigger voltage of the flash and if it isnt higher than 5,4 V it shoud be ok.
