Karting (1D MKIII)

These shots were taken at Kimbolton Kart track, My 1st 1D MKIII shooting Motorsports experience. Karting images don't really do anything for me but is good practice for shooting Bikes. The AF performed extremely well, didn't get one out of focus image, IMO performed better than my 30D. I wasn't there long so all shots were taken from the same corner.

There's also the guy who drove the 1959 Monaco Grand Prix smoking a pipe, his name escapes me.

Shots are good, #4 would be better with the focus on the helmet though. Like the motion in #3 and the fact that you managed to find some attractive scenery at what looks like an airfield karting track in #2.

Thanks Guys, #4 surprised me:eek: when I opened up the image on my PC:D
I agree this image did look soft especially around the guys head, The focus point was on the guys elbow so maybe his head was out of focus or is motion blur?
Please advise if you think is still soft.

I have applied a smart sharpen in PS CS3 94% 1.8 Rad, motion blur to the image.
