Just wondering if you can view picture information with the Epson 3000. It would be cool if you could view a histogram. Would be nice if you can see the shutter speed, iso ......

Yes, you can. There are four display options and the third one displays the histogram and a few pertinent Exif info like aperture, shutter speed and ISO.

Of course the mods get to post a the same comment imediately but spammers like us have to wait 5 minutes.

I assume you're talking about a lag in response time? I had the same problem myself and thought that I hadn't hit the "Submit" button so I hit it again and ended up posting twice (deleted the dupe). When it comes to internet response time, I'm afraid us mods are just as vulnerable as every other member. :)

I'm $50 away form ordering one. Being paid for by rebate offer checks and items sold on line recently ... :D

Do it soon. I got it for around $364.00 from B&H because there is a $100 rebate from Epson. The rebate promotion ends the end of this month.
Besides the features I mentioned in the previous thread, it also downloads the memory cards a heck of a lot faster than the P2000 does (seemingly light years faster :) ).

With the $100 rebate Epson is offering for the P3000, it looks like you may be able to buy something else with that rebate money. :)

Mine is now in transit via FedEx from BuyDig, $328 with the $100 MIR.
Have any of you converted DVD's to DivX and transfered to the Epson? A couple of in flight movies could help traveling in a couple of weeks.

Will it display the EXIF and histogram for a RAW file? My P-2000 does it for a jpeg but not a RAW file.

Since I only shoot raw, I can verify that without checking. :)

Impressed I am with this new device and kudos to BuyDig for quickly shipping it out. The screen is a thing of beauty.
Do any of you have a backup battery and if so where'd you get it from?
