They said he got it with a crutch....I am not so sure.. I would have thought a monopod with the 300/2.8 ISL was a more likely choice. What an end of the squirrel too, imagine being squashed by seven pounds of lens ;)

Rumor has it that a malcontent duck is responsible for stirring up the wildlife. He claims his picture was published here without a valid release. Animals all over the world are up in arms. Have no fear though, the UN has appointed August23 to lead the response, he was chosen for his decisiveness and manliness. Hey, it's the UN. August reportedly has selected Lord Malone and Rhys as the response team. Lord Malone will fit the animals for manties in an attempt to humiliate them, Rhys has been authorized to use all force necessary to quell the disturbance should Lord Malone fail.

I heard about that duck but the way I heard it was he was upset as the photo made him look "small" and his mate left him for a gander. Now he cannot get a date due to the continued use of the photo to show the superiority of the 85L. He put the tree shark up to it by telling him about a photographer who kept his nuts hidden in a pair of manties and promising to help his steal the nuts. Well at least that is what the parrot in the bar told me.

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm going to pull out and nuke the place from orbit - just to be safe.

Rhys, keep those nukes warm. Rikwriter reports menacing bears in Yosemite, the animals are striking out against us I tell ya. And thanks for the info Quad, that would explain why the duck was so pi***d. He went straight to a treeshark lawyer, then the trouble started. BTW, I heard the picture in question was taken with a 1Ds MKII and a 600mm f/4 L, it has since disappeared from the board. I wonder who has that lens/camera combo and has the ability to make a post disappear.

I am OK, but I'll tell you, the time has come to stop shooting them and start shooting them, if you know what I'm saying.

Cor. DOes that mean I get to use my 22 Magnum? I reckon my 357 Magnum would make too much mess.
