Just wanting a few opinions on a dilemma I'm facing.
I have the equipment below in my sig. and the problem that I have is that a 5D is calling to me ;) but for me to get it, I would probably have to probably sell my 30D and 17-55 to afford it.
That would mean I would have to change 2 items, walkabout short zoom and body. I do like the 30D/17-55 combo and would like some experienced users to tell me if I would get anything more from a 5D/24-105 combo apart from higher resolution in megapixels?
Is 5D/24-105 produce better image quality than 30D/17-55?
Another theory is to keep my 30D/17-55 as my walkabout camera and only use the 5D with my 35L and 85/1.8 prime only as a specialist creative combo but this would really stretch the budget. Would it work?
Please any comments welcome. Please can you share your experiences when you upgraded from crop to FF.
