Slave Flash for A40

I tried to buy a slave flash at a camera store, but found that the built in flash of the camera was aparently not bright enough to trigger the slave. Does anyone know of a slave flash that will work with an A40?

Have a look at the forum "A70:Slave Flash?" started by Jak. There are a number of suggestions that might be helpful to you. It is my impression that you probably need a "Digital" slave flash or flash shoe that works with pre flash type on-camera flashes.
