View Full Version : A95 & A560: Same Drivers?

A question for households with two A series cameras.

I am thinking of buying my wife the PowerShot A560. Would I have to load the software for the new camera, or would it use the drivers and Zoombrowser that I installed for the A95, and be recognized automatically?

I am running WinXP SP2.

What you want to do is go to the Canon website and download the updated ZB et. al. from the A95 page. That way you'll be able to upgrade the existing software to the newer version painlessly. Trying to install the new version from the CD with an earlier version installed can cause problems. And you do want the new version. You may still need to load the drivers.
