I was pleasently surprised by the video I got out of my ixus 60...however only 9 mins with a 1 gig card is a bit limited....how big a card can the camera take and if I use an 8 gig card, will I be able to record 1 big file or is that asking too much of the camera??

thanks in advance

1 GB is the max for a clip. And no, it won't take any of the SDHC cards. You're looking at a 2 GB max. card size, which is what's in my wife's SD600 (the US equivalent name).

If you want to do long video clips, get a DV camera - it'll be cheaper in the long run. But a 9 min. (without a break) clip's pretty durn long (and boring) if you don't break it up into smaller pieces.
