Resize Method/Path Setup + Upload DB...error?

I'm not sure if I created an error or not...what I do know
is that I can't do what I thought was possible :o

Note: This was a new install

I followed the steps listed here (double-checked for accuracy)

but when I go to UPLOAD DATABASE and get to STEP 3 : select sizes and where they are going ...I only have one option to choose from
FTP Site = local
Server path = /public_html/gallery/photos/normal
Resize method = just testing (IMAGEMagick 560)
Menu name = JPEG, resized 50% from original

:?: Can this be right? If it is, how would I go about up'ing a file with the original or customized size?

Thats correct there is only one size there, the "Normal" size.

The photos will be resized to the other sizes automatically.

Sizes are added in path setup page, each size as separate "size path". Use resize method "OFF" for uploading original as it is.

Resize method selections shown in path setup are determined by installed graphics engine(s) and what resize methods you have created for them.
