Who here uses them or has any experience with them?

I got a quote from them not long ago. For $1m liability insurance for 1 year would be $300. Fine, no biggie.
For equipment coverage (and I have less than $5k worth of equipment) it would be $1000/year! I'm in Florida and the guy I spoke to said they didn't have anybody in FL who would write a policy for less than $25k worth of equipment. So definitely "room to grow" in that policy. Good grief.

I use them. About $650/yr for liability, errors & omissions, and full gear coverage. I hate paying for insurance, but it is a cost of doing business - so it is a tax write off...

I go through tom pickard in Cali. I think I have state farm (I guess it's a good thing I don't really know) but I pay $750 a year for 2 million liability and $30k insurance. It's pretty much to cover my bag being stolen, but the 2 million liability makes it easy to go to sleep.

Do they allow you to pay monthly?

I'm not sure - I pay quarterly. I think there was a monthly option...

I belong to PPA and get my insurance through them. They have a few options. Marsh underwrites the policy. You can insure gear by the item so you can pay for just what is important. It's always good to have liability. What if a light fell on someone or you tripped someone with a tripod? What if you were shooting and your card didn't record the event?

Are here any WPPI members who use Hill and Usher? Supposedly, there should be a discount for WPPI members but I have doubts as I can't verify. I was given a quote of $350/yr for $1mln liability and few other coverage. Equipment is covered at $4,000 elsewhere for $100/yr.

Do they allow you to pay monthly? No. The options are 1/4, 1/4, or yearly. Each transaction carries a $7 service fee.
