whilst walking through the woods at martin mere nature reserve here in the uk i spotted this little guy up a tree, there was another at the side of him but could only just see his bottom.

thanks. i had to remove a lot of the shaddows it was difficult to expose for . with the sky and dark trees.
would have liked less clutter, but with wildlife you have to take what you get

this was taken at 3 in the afternoon up a martin mere.
a few days previous we saw this adult in the same place so i guess this was one of the parents. this was also in the afternoon

OMG, thats a cute and fluffy looking owl but with exceptionally sharp looking claws. Nice capture.
