Portrait - C&C?

Here is one of my favorite shots of an actor. He wanted a more relaxed, non-traditional headshot, which I consider to be a portrait.

The slight cut at the hair detracts from the overall portrait, but good shot, nevertheless.

Can't comment on lighting and such since I'm the laptop but I agree with Mark, I find the crop a bit distracting, I'd personally take a little more off the bottom and the left side to crop the arm out completely, it don't look right with only half the arm and hand in the picture I think. But you captured a good face, and overall I like the pose, its relaxed so seems like you got what he wanted captured.
