..found out that my best friends wedding photographer was not going to take pictures of his wife getting her hair done, so, i decided to take the opportunity to shoot it. c/c please.

too dark and scary looking. Id rather have them happy and bright.

The photos are fine, but I think I'd use a black and white conversion instead.

I think the effects here are fine, #2 and #3 are a bit distracting, the subject does not clearly jump out at me. Suggest burning a bit of the background to bring out the bride more.

I would suggest avoiding straight on shot of her face, try to catch her at a bit of an angle. #2 is a good idea/concept, but with her holding out her hand like that, it's a bit unnatural. #3 is good, just make it a little brighter.

you black and white converstions need some work. They are very "muddy" -all grey's. They need some pop- try some more contrast or at least boosing the whites.
As to whether to crop the last ones. I would... there is nothing in the background of the images to add to the mood so it's really dead space.
