You might want to explain what you are looking for.

ummm...i think i did
A picture....
Of a canon digital rebel (300D)
That has the canon EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 IS USM L mounted to it
What else do you need :?

If you explain what you are looking for, then you might get results.
For example, are you looking for the relative size difference between the camera and the lens? Are you looking for color match of the lens barrel to the camera case? Are you looking for a perspective that shows how much of the internal flash would be blocked by the lens?

I feel i'm getting frustrated for no reason but its as if your playing games.
I mean, i already said what i want, i dont know how else to explain it.

If you can describe what you are looking for, then possibly you will get to see a photo that shows it.
If you can't describe what you are looking for, then you may see something that really doesn't show what you're after.
One guy wanted to see a photo of X camera with Y lens mounted on it. Then he explained that he was simply trying to get permission from his wife to spend a few thousand bucks, and he needed a photo to show her what the money would buy.

Bob... I think he just wants to see what it looks like. Nothing specific like color matching, relative sizes, etc. I think he just wants to see how it looks overall, nothing more, nothing less.

Tim,
I found this image of a Rebel with the 70-200mm
http://neutralboyancy.mine.nu/Photography/300d/300d_75-200_lens.jpg
The two lenses are the same length.. BEFORE you zoom out the 100-400 at which point it becomes about 2/3rds longer.
The 70-200mm is actually the heavier of the two.
I don't have either the Rebel or the 100-400mm so I can't get you that image.. but this is about the scale of things.
I did "hold" Scottes' 10D with the 100-400mm on it a few weeks ago and it is definately a bit less cumbersome than the 70-200 f/2.8
Mind you.. the lens hood and angled perspective makes it look even larger...

Here's the 100-400L on a 10D.. It's fully extended.. It's not exactly what you wanted, but It should give you an idea of what to expect since the 10D is about the same size as the 300D.. The main difference is that the 10D is black..
This is the shot I used to make my avitar.........

Seeing the 100-400 on the 10D might not help Timmy, but I'm glad you posted it. I have the 10D and am wavering on orderign a 100-400 after the weekend. I want to get it, but I still debate on how much I'll use it verses the cost. I already have the 24-70 2.8L, 70-200 4.0L and 70-200 2.8L IS. I think the 100-400 would be a good addition since I do need something longer than the 70-200 but I don't want to go the 2x route. Ah decissions, decissions. I need to get it by June 12th for the Portland Dragon Boat races if I'm going to get it.
Thanks for the posts with the 10D.

Saw a guy carrying this combo at the park this morning. No strap and carrying it by the body, swinging it around like a hammer.
I just shook my head. Guess some guys just don't appreciate good equipment. Doesn't the rebel have a plastic mount? That dude is in for a treat when he flings that rig to the ground.

I think that the Rebel has a stainless steel mount and inner structure. Either way, I make it a point to wear the neck strap even when I'm just putting the camera on the tripod.

Doggone it - he beat me to the punch!! I have used my S-400 Elph on a tripod a few times - really (though I haven't done so since getting the 10D).
'Tis a thing of beauty, like a miniature goddess perched upon her throne!

This shot tells me two things - I have too much time on my hands today, and my bathroom mirror is way too dirty to use for photography, and especially flash photography. :)

Well, it looks considerably more majestic on its own "elph-sized" tripod:

And I have actually used the tripod with the S-400. Really! I'm not kidding!

So I may not be a true EOS user but I am lurking because I want one! Don't tell my G3 though.
You guys are funny, but I want to see the elph, the tripod AND the 100-400. This may require duct tape though!
Anyone up to the challenge?
