Bridal shoot, first posting

yesterday we shot a few pics for a friend of ours. her hired photographer is doing a studio bridal portrait tomorrow. what do you think?

They are a little dark....in my very amatuer opinion I would say that you needed to use fill flash to brighten the first one and to remove the shadows of her face in the second one.

I'd probably like the first one a bit better if she were looking at the camera. It needs some fill flash, too. The second one looks as if it's out of focus, though the posing is fine. I think I'd try to blur the background a bit more in that one, too.

Yes definitely some fill flash or bumping up the exposure would have helped the first image. I really like the composition of the second image, but some fill flash could have been used to get rid of some of the facial shadows.

i used the on camera flash in the first one. looks like i should have used the hot shoe flash instead. the second one..... let me work some photoshop adjustments.
