Has anyone ever used this chest pod: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/240748-REG/Novoflex_PISTOCKC_Chest_Shoulder_Pod_Reduces.html

The monopod I have is great - I like it, but I'm finding that I have to walk alot between 1st and third bases (little league baseball), so I'm wondering whether it would be easier to just have it attached and anchored on the chest (this is the with the tank the 70-200 f/2.8 lens).

The other alternative is something I have seen posted here, there's another chest pod which gives you different heights, but that one is $400.00 as apposed to the novoflex which is $145.

Thanks.

No, bought a small tripod years ago where one leg went out a less of an angle but was longer. Pointed the long one down, tilted the ball head up at a right angle and it worked great.

The Ergorest can be used as a chest pod. I do not. It is very uncomfortable and doesn't help a lot. Just use a good monopod (down to the ground.)

Stick with the monopod. You will be way better off.
