I've been shooting with digital for almost 4 years now but all I have done is action primarily horse events. This is my first real stab at doing an engagement shoot. These are unedited straight from the camera. Please critique and edit. Let me know what you do to edit I really want to improve. Thanks in advance.

Not too bad. The exposure on them looks fairly on which is a good thing. The blown out sky is somewhat distracting. And the image size is way to small to make any further critique. Post processing is an important aspect to photography. It's great these are straight off the camera, but it doesn't change my perception about the photos at all - same with your clients. :)

Much better! :) I'd recommend a simple Photoshop book - Scott Kelby has some great beginner ones that I have found to be invaluable. I'd personally like to see more background blur and isolation of the couple themselves. Shots like these could be easily attained with a $200-$300 point and shoot. Keep at it. :)
