Father's Day Soccer Tourney

Didn't have any paid work this weekend, so I went out to my nephew's soccer tourney. I grew up playing soccer but rarely shoot the sport. I find it quite difficult and have great respect for some of the shots I have seen here. Nice action. Soccer is the most difficult sport for me to capture too. I keep trying though.

These were shot with a 20D and 400 f 2.8 I use Av at 2.8 and dial up some EC as needed.

nice timing, composition, john. for a "newb" to soccer, these are great. actually, they're great regardless of experience level! one small item i noted is that the horizons on #1 and #2 are slightly off (relative to ground level).
