I have recently taken some photos of my girlfriends younger borthers and sisters.

I am going to be putting the pictures on CD so they can get the prints themselves.

Is it better to have a bigger image on the cd (e.g 3008x2765) etc etc or smaller images such as 800x600?

May be a stupid question but im unsure.

For those occasions where I do give images in an electronic format I will generally give them the full sized JPG plus a file that is resized to the more popular print sizes. This means that they would get file1.jpg (this would be full size), file1-4x6.jpg, file1-5x7.jpg and file1-8x10. Anything larger that they might want to print they can do this off the full sized file. This is done on small orders where I am only delivering a few files. My approach on this is that they are printing my work and I want the very best results possible.

For those who have bought the electronic files from a wedding where I am sending several hundred files I do edit the files and send them the full size images. I never release my RAW files.

Thanks alot!

I am only delivering a few pictures so I think I'll go with your idea of sending the large jpeg as well as the popular print sizes.

Thanks Again
