I was surprised by how much info they would "like" to have on the users of their equipment. I always am suspicious of places that ask as much as Canon does. Just remember, not all of the info is mandatory.... Guess this will fill some data mining database somewhere....

Thank you for posting this thread, I got tired of looking. I am concerned that they are offering discounts on repairs with registration, don't we have a year before we have to think about paying for repairs?

We must not have their database prepared yet for the 1DmkII yet.

the website tells me that the online registration will be available soon..... use the mail in card and/or check back in two weeks!

Worked fine for me. I registered my camera over the weekend.

It worked fine for me when I registered last night, but when I tried to show the survey to someone this morning I got the same message that the others are seeing--"check back in two weeks."
