S2 IS 2 zoom speeds?

In the table in the middle of the page it talks about the S2 having 2 zoom speeds, I can't find anything in my book about it, any ideas?

I don't have my instruction booklet right now, but I know for sure the S2 has 2 zoom speeds. It depends on how far you twist the zoom slider; the further from center you move it, the faster it goes.

You can also feel the exact moment the speed change when you turn the rotary slider: move it gently, and the camera will zoom slowly. About half way from the full throttle position, you'll feel the resistance increase, and past that point, zoom is in 2nd gear. :D Works for both zoom-in and zoom-out.

You can read this info on page 33 of your manual, but it will only tell you what Jeece just posted. Personally I think the slow to fast zoom speed works very well on the S2.

I love the 2 speed zoom as well. My girlfriend just bought a panasonic camera with 10x optical, and it seems to take forever to get to full tele.
