View Full Version : What are some of the "perks" of joining a professional organization?

Is their any that have insurance?
Will I get any good referrals to clients?
Anything else?

I have been shooting for a while and got all the right equipment, but never have joined one of these.

We tend to think there are a lot of benefits - its whether or not you want to take advantage. PPA, WPPI, and WPJA are all great orgs. I've heard good things about WPJA generating referrals. WPPI and PPA offer training, resources, and all sorts of things. PPA offers indemnity insurance, as well as other forms of insurance a pro photog might need - eg. health. We are members of PPA and WPPI.
