I was going to ask if you used a blind or some sort of cover because in some of these shots the birds look relaxed and somewhat oblivious to your presence. I am sure that long glass is used but that only helps to a certain extent and less so for a bird as small as a Kestrel. Thanks.

There is a Row of Hedge bushes and trees between me and the birds. Tonights Redhead woodpecker shots were taken at 20 yards with little more than a peep hole. Kestrel shots are from 35 to 45 yards. I'm going to Backup some for addtional in-flight to increase FOV (Field of View)
