I'm looking for something that I can just take a 1D series camera with 24-105L Lens attached and maybe one strobe. Something very light and compact but with good protection. Was thinking maybe a light backpack or sling type bag but I'm open to any type. I'm hoping to find something with easy access to the camera too. Would like to use it on short hikes, and events where I take pictures then need to store it safely for a while. Any suggestions? TIA

Thank you all for your responses. I have looked at www.cambags.com (http://www.cambags.com), a great site, along with the stickies in this forum. There are soooo many choices. I appreciate all your suggestions.
